Artist Statement :
An old habit of carrying a camera to family outings, blossomed into a full-grown hobby in 2009. So many visions and thoughts, finally found a medium, as I grew into a serious amateur photographer.
Nature is a favourite muse. I enjoy landscapes-for their abundance of patterns, hues and meaning. But when I don't get to travel too far, I like to use a macro and magnify the scope of finding something equally interesting, at home. Flower macros allow me to work on the fundamentals of a goodimage-the colour, the lines and form.
Of late, it's the abstract that piques my interest - how a few elements, can evoke great emotion - like a few words that can say it all. Old habits die hard - I still like to keep my camera close, and grow as a student of light.
