They say ‘when God smiles, a flower blooms on earth’.
My flowers represent everything the world is fast denying itself, and they are not from the head. Their eternal beauty and enduring simplicity is a challenge to the rational, reasonable, practical and very intellectualised life that all of us have led ourselves into. They are about feelings, and spontaneity, and harmony, and an unhurried calmness. They are about simplicity to the point that it hits you real big.
My flowers are only about flowers.
They are about the expression of the most sublime emotions of love, happiness, celebration, joy and even sadness. They are about prayer. They are about a thank you not said, a feeling not expressed.
They are themselves. They are just flowers.
