Artist Statement :
The exploration of nature in art can take endless forms, because nature provides us with such a vast wealth of inspiring phenomena. Artwork based on nature can take many forms and serve many purposes. There are many different ways to approach the subject of nature in art. Art can open our eyes to the intricacy and beauty of the natural world.
Ratna Bose in the present series of her work creates a relation among human beings, animals with the nature. She has used contemporary technique and has presented human faces and owls which express their existence in nature with technical excellence. The courageous experimentation and the massiveness is the main attraction of this particular work.
