The artist, originally from Rajasthan is settled in Tamilnadu. Hailing from a family of cloth merchants, he studied commerce and stepped into the family business. However, the artist in him since childhood grew exponentially and he finally took the brush seriously.
Initially starting with oils, of late, he has taken a liking to working more in watercolors. His most favorite subjects are Indian streetscapes and painting people and portraits. His paintings are held in private collections in many places in India.
