Senior artist Vasudeo Kamath talks about Ramayana book

See the full video of the Senior artist Vasudeo Kamath talking about the Ramayana project organised by Khula Aasmaan.

Late Mr. Milind Vishwas Sathe, the founder of Khula Aasmaan, organised a painting competition based on the life of Lord Shree Ram, at the same time as the Bhoomi Poojan program of the Ram Temple was going on ( August 2020) with overwhelming response.

Such great coincidences that, today the remarkable artwork collection, "Ramayan by Khula Aasmaan" is getting published, at the same time of the Shree Rama idol getting live in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple, Ayodhya. Pure blessings by Hanuman and Rama Raya.

Most importantly the children have "visualised" the Ramayana they have heard, read or understood to express their feelings through lines, shapes and colours spontaneously. This is in line with Khula Aasmaan motto to encourage children to draw/paint independently.

Ramayana book

I recommend, this picture collection should go from house to house for parents/teachers to show them while narrating the story of Ramayana rather than those drawn by the professional artists in studios. Use them for decorating the walls of homes and schools, to create joy on the face of the children!

These are spontaneous or " स्वयंभू " pictures , closer to their hearts than the artificial pictures.
My best wishes to this Ramayana Art Collective, unique initiative by Khula Aasmaan to reach every household in India and abroad.
