Remarks

This painting depicts one of the seven wonders of the world i.e. Taj Mahal. It is an ivory white mausoleum built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is situated on the bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It is the jewel of Muslim art in India.

This painting by child artist Antarjita Kumar (15 years) received a Honorable Mention in Khula Aasmaan painting competition for children for January to March 2022.
