This drawing is my imagination of the traffic block in my city. Kochi, as viewed by me from Edapally Metro Station. Urbanisation has made towns and cities overcrowded with vehicles. My Gods own country is no excuse. People and life is struck in these blocks, raising pollution level and damaging environment. My favorite medium to draw is pencil. Expressing an idea through pencil and charcoal shading is difficult compared to using colors. I use different types of pencil from light to dark lead. it is called the degree of hardness and is designated by numbers such as 2B, 4B, 2H, 6B, etc Charcoal pencil is used to shade the drawing finally. I have not joined any arts classes, hence do my own simple innovations in pencil drawing.
