I love to paint flowers. Lotus flowers are special to me as I am attracted to their beauty and purity.
Pink Lotus which is considered sacred, is India’s national flower. Several gods and goddesses are linked to lotus flower. Goddess Laxmi who symbolises prosperity and wealth is seen being seated atop a fully opened pink lotus flower. Lotus is a symbol of purity and resurrection as it rises from unclean waters to bloom into a beautiful and pure flower.
