Since school days, she has an inclination to arts and passion for paining. Starting with sketches and watercolour paintings, she moved to oil paining on canvas before she finished college. Inspired by great artists of Renaissance era and realistic painters like Raja Ravi Varma, she concentrated mainly on painting realistic portraits for some time and slowly shifted to still life and scenery. Recently she got interested in impressionist styles and works on abstract paintings, which portray scientific themes, mostly from her area of research, blended uniquely with impressionism.
