Secrets of the sea her life has always been intricately intertwined with the gentle rise and fall of the tide while the waves whisper strange
secrets to her. The sea has constantly been a part of her life; as a child she grew up on the shores of the Bay of Bengal in Pondicherry and then,
carrying her first child, Arpita moved Maldives and beaches of the Indian Ocean. Diving into depths of her own artistic expressions, Arpita reveals
the deep secrets of the seas through strokes of blue, turquoise, aquamarine, green and more in her latest set of paintings. She exposes the teeming
life that lies under the seemingly languorous waves, a world pregnant with activities and rich in hues…bright filigree-like corals, multi-hued fish,
gentle waves, soft white froth, a diver in the sea and even a water baby. She says, "The sea is a world waiting to be discovered; an artist’s abode,
a rich canvas by itself."
