प्रत्यक्ष ठिकाणावर जाऊन निसर्गचित्र काढताना पुष्कळ गोष्टी लक्षात घ्याव्या लागतात. प्रथम समोरील दृष्याचे नीट निरीक्षण करून, त्यातील कोणत्या गोष्टी आपल्याला चित्रात दाखवायच्या आहेत हे ठरवावे लागते.
असेच एक चित्र शाळेतील मुलांना काढून दाखवताना हा व्हिडिओ चित्रित केला आहे.
डोंगराच्या पायथ्याशी असलेल्या एक छोटेसे गाव, त्यातील कौलारू घरे, दोरीवर वाळत घातलेले कपडे, झाडे झुडपे, त्यांचे वेगवेगळे रंग, त्यातील घटकांची योग्य मांडणी यासारख्या अनेक गोष्टींची मुलांबरोबर चर्चा केली आहे. यामुळे मुलांची निरीक्षणशक्ती विकसीत होते.
येथे दिसणारे गावांचे दृष्य पेन्सिलने कागदावर काढून दाखवले आहे.
पेन्सिल रेखाटनाचा सतत सराव केल्यास, कमी वेळात प्रमाणबध्द चित्र रेखाटन सोपे जाते.
