Nature is a beautiful expression of art. The joy of painting a picture in the midst of nature, in an open environment, is unique. It is necessary for school students, to experience nature painting by observing nature on the spot. In this video, it is shown that how to paint a small village, at the foothills of a mountain, seen from the school premises.
Before starting to draw, the scene was observed carefully.
Roofs and walls of the houses, houses surrounded with trees and shrubs, its shapes and angles, lights and shadows and colours were studied properly. All these things were discussed with the students. So that the students should understand, how to observe the things.
While starting to draw an outline on the paper, many things were thought of- The size and the proportion of the picture should be suitable to the paper, its composition, its impression on our mind etc.. It is important to be able to depict the character of the village and its surroundings in our painting.
