Remarks

Madhubani art is a style of Indian painting, practiced in the Mithila region of the Indian subcontinent. It’s main concept is geometric designs and tiny strokes.Madhubani painting is a symbolic expression of day-to-day experiences, feelings and thought. The symbols, those are used in Madhubani paintings have their specific meanings. A peacock in the Madhubani painting represents divine love, knowledge, prosperity, and romance. As the feather is in the form of an eye, it is believed that it saves us from the evil and negativity. Fish are a symbol of fertility and prosperity in Madhubani paintings. Existence of fish means that all the elements of nature are in harmony, and hence there is prosperity.
