Remarks

The Ajanta caves are in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. 30 rock cut Buddhist cave monuments, which date from the 2nd to 7th centuries. The cave include paintings and sculptures which are masterpieces of Buddhist religions art. This is chaitya hall for work-ship with stupa inside.
